JOHN FRENCH FOR SPRING VALLEY MAYOR Why is downtown Spring Valley the way it is? It's the way it is because no one has ever gone down and talked to the businesses about what they need to do to grow their business. And what I mean by that is we need to find out how to help these businesses. In the past, businesses have not felt they can go to the city with their needs. With my past experience in business in Spring Valley, along with others who have talked to me, we feel that the Spring Valley Council has been against businesses in our town. The only time we see someone from the City would be to issue fines against businesses and other things. With French for Mayor, that's not going to happen. He's going to promote businesses on a day to day basis. With French for Mayor that is going to change. If l'm elected, I will do all I can to make sure these businesses grow. I feel there is such a big need for someone to invest time in these businesses. This town is worth it and there is so much opportunity for growth. We need a mayor that will physically go and talk to these businesses to see what they need in order to grow. For example, I've been a business owner for many years and never has an alderman or a mayor stopped into my store to speak to me. People are not shopping in this town. They are going elsewhere! Let's make this city attractive to not only their residents, but to our community as a whole. With French for Mayor, We will do whatever it takes to make our town look amazing. As Mayor, we will help bring buildings to code. I stopped and talked with Mike Campbell, who has run several businesses in Spring Valley over the years. He told me that no one has ever approached him addressing what to do with his buildings. He has told me he will do whatever it takes to help me rebuild buildings in downtown Spring Valley, starting with the Kodak store. The video store is now 100% owned by me, and you will now see major changes being made. This is an example of what the owners of these buildings will do. They just need a mayor that will give them the time and listen to them. This is the one time that your vote really matters. One time that your vote will truly count. French for Mayor will make all these changes and improvements on a day to day basis. I want businesses to grow every day. I look forward to businesses growing each and every day. I own two LED billboard signs on Route 6 in Spring Valley, and if elected mayor, I vow to promote our Spring Valley businesses with continual ads rotating on these signs. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, all Spring Valley businesses showcased on these signs at no cost to them.
