The SO may accompany the patient to the OB department So required to wear a mask at all times and must get temperature checked S0 must remain in the room with patient, and cannot be "swapped out" for someone else OB sonogram patients may have a S0 accompany them in for the sonogram. If the patient is required to wait at any time in the waiting room, the SO must wait outside the building until the patient is ready to go back. Discharge Instructions will be reviewed at this time Pain Management patients who are NOT receiving anesthesia (local only) will be allowed ONE support person to accompany them to their appointment.
