I was born and raised in Peru, IL, I am married to my wife of 20 years, Michelle (Placenti) Kolowski, and I have three children, Alex, Macy, and Conner. I own and KEN KOLOWSKI operate my own business here in the Illinois Valley and have a huge sense of pride in my community. Thanks to my father, Don Kolowski, I have spent many years of my lif e in government facilities. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my dad at the fire station, police station, and city buildings. My memories of volunteer servie for the community extends as far back as the late 70's when I would head out with my dad and the Peru CSo to hang decorations for the holidays. I can also recall helping to set up for and attending the historic FOR MAYOR OF PERU Peru fireman's picnics. April 6th, 2021 This adventure, thus far, has been amazing to say the least. The support I have seen from all of you means more to me than words can express.
