Strouss Park's basketball court recently received a major makeover when the Mendota Optimist Club and Mendota Lion's Club each donated $15.000 to upgrade the surface to a low maintenance modular sports tile. Several volunteers from both organizations installed the tile and painted the curbing surrounding the courts. Since installing, use has increased and feedback has been very positive.
