An Introduction to Quaker Meditation Saturday, March 29, 2025 9:30 a.m. 2:00 p.m. - Clear Creek Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) will hold a retreat at Clear Creek House (14259 N. 350th Ave.) near McNabb. Presented by Illinois Yearly Meeting Field Secretary Marcia Nelson, the program will include reading, discussion, and practice. Those attending will learn about different meditation practices and the distinctive Quaker way of sitting in silence. A simple lunch will be provided.
